Free Taster Session! BCE’s Saturday Sessions for 11-16 year olds will begin in January

Our doors are opening and we’re excited to announce the first of our enrichment activities!

Whilst we’ve all been enjoying that funny little gap in festivities between Christmas and New Years, BCE central has been quietly chipping away at big plans for the spring, now that we’re ready to get cracking with practical face to face activities in our new learning centre in Ashburton. Our first project is the launch of creativity and wellbeing sessions for all young people aged 11-16 on a Saturday morning, starting with a free taster on Saturday 18th January. The only registration requirement is that you book in advance, your child enjoys creative expressive activities and they would benefit from strengthening their wellbeing, confidence and communication skills.

Saturday Sessions are open for all young people who would like to strengthen their mental health and build a solution focused mindset. Sessions will begin at our Ashburton Studio in January.

At Beyond Creative Education, during the school or college day we are a specialist Alternative Provision for young people with health needs, SEND and/or EBSNA. This AP offer will also commence from January, so do get in touch if you’d like to understand our education provision - We’re proud to be introducing a new way of working together for schools, families and Local Authorities. Although this new provision is the foundation for BCE, we want to make a difference to all children and their community, which is why our Saturday Sessions are open to all, regardless of educational need.

BCE’s enrichment activities are designed by specialist qualified SEN teachers and transpersonal arts counsellors, to activate life skills and solution focused attitudes. We teach strategies for improved self-image and positive communication through creative expressive experiences, with the option to work towards recognised qualifications.

BCE provides young people with the practical skills, knowledge and understanding that will help them to achieve balance, independence, calm and confidence. We help our learners to prepare for life's transitions. Our support extends to parents, carers, teachers, LA’s and agencies.

Join our free taster session on Saturday 18th January 10am-12pm. You must book your place in advance.

All activities are designed by specialists and open to young people aged 11-16 with an interest in creative arts and wellbeing.

The Saturday Sessions will take place at our lovely new studios in Ashburton, TQ13 7EF.
